ATV Trails around the WorldVélo Québec Since 1967, Vélo Québec has been working
to have the bicycle recognized as a legitimate means of transportation,
leisure and tourism in our society. While the conditions cyclists
must contend with on a daily basis may still be less than ideal,
Vélo Québec has made great strides: new and improved
bikeways in many regions, recognition of the bicycle in the Highway
Safety Code, implementation of a program to pave the shoulders of
Ministère des Transports roads, and the development of La
Route Verte, a regional cycle network. |
