National Commission for the Environment (CONAMA)

The National Commission for the Environment has developed Sendero De Chile, a project that will establish a national trail traversing the main natural ecosystems of Chile along the pre-Andean Range, beginning in Visviri and ending in the extreme south of Tierra del Fuego. This initiative has backing from the president of the republic and will require extensive cooperation among public institutions. The trail can be traveled by foot, horse or bicycle.
