RAVeL (Reseau Autonome de Voies Lentes - Autonomous Network of Slow Paths)

RAVeL, managed by the Walloon Ministry of Equipment and Transport, focuses on the development of safe transport networks for cyclists, pedestrians, horseback riders and skaters. The network is mainly based on abandoned railway lines and canal towpaths. RAVeL also works to enhance the countryside, nature and cultural heritage.
